In light of the ongoing spread of the virus, we have instituted the following practices that will hopefully increase the safety of everyone who enters our building. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are exhibiting symptoms that may be indicative of the virus, we ask that you refrain from entering the facility.
Cleaning:
Cleaning:
- The building is cleaned regularly including disinfection practices with FDA-approved cleaning products.
- All high traffic surfaces are disinfected at the conclusion of service/gathering.
- Tables and surfaces within the fellowship hall are disinfected at the conclusion of use.
- We ask all who enter the building wear a mask covering both your nose and mouth when moving throughout the facility.
- Once seated in the sanctuary, masks may be removed as needed but should be placed back on if you need to leave your seat to use the restroom, take a child to class, etc.
- Our seating in the sanctuary is set up to observe current social distancing policy and we request that everyone sit with those in their "bubble."
- Seating within our fellowship hall is also set up to observe current social distancing policy.
- Sanitizer is readily available in multiple locations throughout the building.
- All children who attend our Sunday school class during service (toddler - 5th grade) have their temperatures checked as they are signed in by their parent/guardian.
- Seating is arranged by family with separate tables for each group.
- We ask that all children wear masks when entering or moving around during their class.
- Each table is disinfected at the conclusion of service.
- Individual materials are given and used for each child.
It is our intention and effort to respect each person, especially those who may have underlying health issues or who may be exercising caution for themselves and those around them. The idea is not to restrict personal freedom, but to do our part in helping protect our community.
The leadership feels this approach is a way to include the greatest amount of people in our in house worship services, which is the most important thing. Please know that if you still feel more comfortable participating in online services, we respect that decision and will be streaming our services live via Facebook.
As conditions change, we will reassess where we are at that point and determine the best course of action moving forward. This is a fluid process and our prayer is that our country can soon come back to some kind of normal. It is a very stressful time for sure for everyone, and, in the midst of it all it is so important that we love each other through it and do our best to consider the concerns of all our brothers and sisters. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact us.
